The smartly-designed mounting system consists of two components: an adjustable base (affixed to the chassis), and a pair of upper mounts (which remain attached to the engine crankcase - #338720) that key to the adjustable base. This enables the engine to be mounted and dismounted time after time without needing gear mesh re-adjustment.
Engine mounts are designed to allow easy access to the engines rear plate so you do not need to dismount the engine at any time.

| The Monoblock Engine Mount is recommended for low- and medium-traction conditions. The Monoblock design provides a stiffer design than the standard single engine mounts but is still a bit more flexible than the Multi-Flex 1-Piece Engine Mounting System (#338712). The engine area of the car and the area between engine and 2-speed is reinforced but the flex of the chassis is still available. The reinforced area of the chassis between the engine and 2-speed gears reduces the chance of spur gear breakage or stripping. |

The optional MFT 1-piece engine mounting system for the NT1 allows you to adjust NT1 chassis stiffness in the engine bay to suit various racing conditions or driving styles.
The standard 2-piece engine mount was designed and tested to allow the give chassis flex that suits most driving styles and racing conditions. For specific racing conditions or driving styles, the middle of the chassis can be additionally reinforced by installing the optional MFT 1-piece engine mount which features reinforcing legs both front and rear, reinforcing the chassis and stiffening the flex. Additional graphite braces may be installed between the MFT 1-piece engine mount and rear bulkheads (and/or to the front holders next to the battery packs) to create a very solid and ultra-stiff platform.

335100 XRAY Multi-Diff - One-Way - Solid - Set
Revolutionary, XRAY Multi-Diff (XRAY patent) is offered for the NT1. This versatile front axle system offers three different settings: one-way / one-way solid / full-time solid axle. You can easily use the Multi-Diff as a standard one-way (left and right outdrives turn independently off-power), or lock the one-way out drives (both left and right outdrives turn together off-power), or you can fully lock the Multi-Diff and it will work as a full-time solid axle. |

| Lightweight one-way outdrives manufactured from Hudy Spring Steel have a hex hole machined at each end. A lightweight machined steel hex-style locking axle can be inserted into both outdrives to lock them together and create a solid one-way, which means both outdrives turn freely together as a one-way (at the same time), thus creating a solid one-way off-power. |

| To create a full-time solid axle, a pin is inserted through aligned holes in the main aluminum body of the Multi-Diff and the steel locking axle. This will lock the outdrives completely, creating a full-time solid axle. |
