XRAY optional Monoblock Engine Mount for NT1 provides solid engine mounting and easy adjustment. The unique keyed-mount design allows for the easy removal and replacement of the engine without the need for gear mesh re-adjustment after every replacement.

The smartly-designed mounting system consists of two components: an adjustable base (affixed to the chassis), and a pair of upper mounts (which remain attached to the engine crankcase - #338720) that key to the adjustable base. This enables the engine to be mounted and dismounted time after time without needing gear mesh re-adjustment.

Engine mounts are designed to allow easy access to the engine’s rear plate so you do not need to dismount the engine at any time.

Engine swaps are now quick & easy! You can have several engines prepared in your pit box with their own engine mounts attached. Simply remove one engine from the base mount and replace it with another engine.


The Monoblock Engine Mount is recommended for low- and medium-traction conditions. The Monoblock design provides a stiffer design than the standard single engine mounts but is still a bit more flexible than the Multi-Flex™ 1-Piece Engine Mounting System (#338712). The engine area of the car and the area between engine and 2-speed is reinforced but the flex of the chassis is still available. The reinforced area of the chassis between the engine and 2-speed gears reduces the chance of spur gear breakage or stripping.

These XRAY Starburst wheels are unique in that they were purposefully designed for high-competition racing. XRAY uses its long-term experiences in composite mixture alchemy to bring forth completely new composite mixtures targeted at nitro touring wheels. The special composite mixture ensures that the wheels are super light yet ultra strong and stiff.


Special 3D virtual reality systems were used to develop and test the wheels so as to obtain the best overall firmness and inner/outer rib design, ensuring that the wheel generates sufficient mechanical grip while still withstanding hard crashes. Even the injection molding techniques were virtually tested to ensure that the composite material would spread completely and properly in the mold before cooling, resulting in high-precision and quality wheels.

Following long term testing by factory team drivers in all different racing conditions around the world, the final wheel design provides ultimate performance wherever they are used. Typical XRAY stylish looks make the wheels easily identifiably, differentiating them from all others.

The precise inner hex provides a snug fit to the wheel axle hex outdrive. The ribbed design of the wheel allows for easy access to the camber/toe pivot balls for fast set-up changes.

The special foam is solidly bonded to the wheels and pre-trued to an optimal starting diameter.

Tires are packaged in a sealed air-tight vinyl bag to keep the tires fresh as long as possible. Packaged as 1 pair (2 pieces). Front & rear tires are available in 5 popular hardnesses to give you abundant choice for any racing conditions around the world.

Revolutionary, XRAY Multi-Diff™ (XRAY patent) is offered for the NT1. This versatile front axle system offers three different settings: one-way / one-way solid / full-time solid axle. You can easily use the Multi-Diff™ as a standard one-way (left and right outdrives turn independently off-power), or lock the one-way out drives (both left and right outdrives turn together off-power), or you can fully lock the Multi-Diff™ and it will work as a full-time solid axle.

Lightweight one-way outdrives manufactured from Hudy Spring Steel™ have a hex hole machined at each end. A lightweight machined steel hex-style locking axle can be inserted into both outdrives to lock them together and create a solid one-way, which means both outdrives turn freely together as a one-way (at the same time), thus creating a solid one-way off-power.


To create a full-time solid axle, a pin is inserted through aligned holes in the main aluminum body of the Multi-Diff™ and the steel locking axle. This will lock the outdrives completely, creating a full-time solid axle.

Precision-molded 1st and 2nd spur gears for the XRAY NT1 are made from special composite material which gives the spur gear an optimum balance of hardness, toughness, and flexibility thus providing long life, minimal wear, and minimizing breakage or teeth stripping. The spur gear remains strategically lightened to reduce rotating mass. The special composite material will withstand even the most extreme racing conditions which impart high tension on the spur gears.
