| The next race of the Czech Open Series took place on September 22nd in Most. The organizator of the event, RC Buggy Club Most, prepared the track superbly as always. There were 50 drivers signed up including XRAY driver Petr Klatovsky who came to test new parts and prepare for the future Czech Nationals. The weather forecast was positive, so there was nothing that could disturb the morning practice and qualifications. |

In the first qualification round, 5 drivers were able to make 9 laps, and a further 2 drivers reached the same lap number. The results were very balanced, the difference between 1st and 10th place was only 10 seconds. Petr Klatovsky was 2nd (only 1 second behind) and in 8th position was the talented S.Silhavy.

For the afternoon final battle, Petr decided to use softer oil in the front differential and to increase camber. This choice brought good results; Petr won the semi-final race by almost 1 lap ahead the other drivers and this allowed him to start in 1st place in the finals. On the other hand, S.Silhavy had some technical problems and due to that he was not able to make it into the finals.
The start of the finals was a little bit nerve-wracking and some cars crashed in the first curve. Petr used his pole position and kept his first position. In lap 4 he made a mistake when he hit the border of the track and 2 cars got ahead of him. However, in a short time he was able to catch them and pass them again. After that he increased his distance and finished 2 laps ahead of the other drivers.
Another success for XRAY was accomplished by S.Silhavy, who won the junior category.
