The first KM Asia Cup Tournament 2008 event was held in Hong Kong on the March 15-16 weekend. There were many participants from Hong Kong, Japan, China, and also Thailand.
We arrived on Friday for practice. The track was very well prepared and challenging as there were many narrow sections and and islands. The car was very easy to drive with very little change from what we had prepared, and at the end of the day we were ready for the event.
Saturday was qualifying day, with 3 qualifiers on the agenda. In first qualifier, I had an accident and end up in 3rd place. Hong Kong driver Samuel Chiu took pole position with his NT1. In Q2, I still had bad luck as the steering screw came out, making the car very nervous to drive. Samuel Chiu again took pole. In Q3, I finally had a clean run and took over the pole position.
After 3 qualifiers the order was as follows:

Sunday
The Main Final list was as follows:

In main final, the first 10 minutes was very exciting as Samuel Chiu chased me for 1st position. But not long thereafter he had a bad accident with another car, thus ending his race. This allowed me to make a clean breakaway and I won the event.
