Race report by Soeren Boy Holst
At the last round of the regional championships, it was total XRAY domination! Taking TQ and winning in all 3 classes, XRAY really showed the potential in 27T Stock, 19T Super Stock and Modified Touring Car… XRAY cars won everything.

In the Modified class it was a battle between me, fellow XRAY driver Christian Lehm, and Emil Rath. I was the fastest guy in all the qualifiers, Emil was 2nd but had some problems with his car, and Christian was following closely in 3rd place.

In the first two finals it was me in front with Christian and Emil fighting for 2nd place. Christian got the 2nd place in both first and second finals. Unfortunately I made a stupid mistake in the last final — as I was leading again I waited for Emil and Christian to play a little bit. I let Emil pass a couple of times, but in the end I wasn’t close enough, so he got the win in the third final, and thereby securing the 2nd place overall. I was very sorry that I ruined the result for Christian, who really deserved the 2nd place this time – Sorry once again, Christian.

2. Emil Rath

I would like to take the opportunity to thank X-Ray for the best car ever, and the great support.
Also thanks to GM-Racing for supporting me with good electronics and batteries.

In the 19T SuperStock class, the overall championship was still open between XRAY driver Danni Eyde-Nielsen, and HB driver Caspar Morgen. Danni knew he had to take TQ and the win to be the overall champion. He took the TQ ahead of Caspar (2nd) and Dennis Lou (3rd).

In the first final Danni had a good start and made a gap to the rest of the pack. It was easy to see that he was quite nervous… hey, the boy is only 14 and has been driving for 1 and 1/2 years, so it was expected… but he was cool enough to secure the win ahead of Caspar and Dennis.

The second final was a lot more exciting. I was following Danni’s race closely and was very proud until the middle of the final where he made a mistake and sent the car on the roof. This gave Caspar the opportunity to take the lead, giving hopes for an overall win. But Danni once again showed that he is cool enough, so after 2 laps, he made a clean pass on the inside of Casper, and thereby securing the lead and the overall championship. It was a very happy boy who stepped down from the drivers stand, and I must say that his coach was really proud as well.

The third final was not important anymore but Danni took the win once again ahead of fellow XRAY driver Claus Ryeskov, but unfortunately Claus had a problem with his transponder so he ended as 8th on the scoreboard.

XRAY also dominated the 27t Stock class. The fight was on between Michael Strandholdt, Dennis Tollund, and Nicklas Noedvig. Michael secured the TQ spot, but in the finals the positions changed a lot. This was of course really exciting for the spectators.
