The Munzig Indoor Buggy Race was held over the weekend of January 24-25, 2009 at the Race Center Munzig. 47 Buggy and 22 Truggy drivers attended the race near Dresden.

From the beginning Oliver Simon, Christian Krieger and Tobias Deike made the fastest laps with their XRAY XB808 buggies.

In the semi finals, the very demanding track forced a lot of cars to quit, including the 2 favourites Oliver Simon and Tobias Deike. Nevertheless 5 XRAYs made it into the main, which was held with only 8 drivers due to the small track.
In the 30 minutes final Toni Riepl, Christian Krieger, Karel Hajek and Florian Laux were able to leave the field behind, battling for the lead.

Positions changed very often until Florian and Karel were forced to exit from the race due to technical issues.
From this moment Toni Riepl took it easy and cruised for his second win with his XRAY XB808. Good job again, Toni!
