On Saturday March 28, 2009 an invitational race for the buggy class was held at the M.M.O.R.C. Kordin track in Malta. The weather was excellent to enjoy a full day of racing.

This race attracted the best drivers on the island, the competition amongst the drivers was intense but clean which this resulted in very exciting racing.
Six drivers with their XRAY XB808 buggies made it to the final. The very promising youngster Duncun Compagnio showed great driving skills and controlled all the rounds and final from start to finish including the final with his XB808. In second place was Twanny Borg who also showed very good skills throughout the day. XRAY team driver Jonathon Tonna, with his XB808, finished in the third position.

In a few words the XRAY XB808 dominated the event. All the drivers driving the XB808 made it to the final. Six cars out of eight in the final were XRAY 808 and two of them made it to the podium. It was another great day for Team Xray Malta it was another great display of power and reliability from the great XB808.
