Race report by Ryan Lopez
I attended the Wiregrass Nationals and raced the classes of 8th scale buggy and truggy. I qualified 6th in buggy and 3rd in truggy.

The truggy race consisted of a lot of fast drivers. The truggy main Gene Hickerson and I were battling it out for 3rd position spot for the last 10 minutes of the race. I was able to stay in front of Gene pretty much throughout the entire race. It was exciting and tense to know that Gene was battling to take the podium spot from me. Fortunately, I was able to keep the 3rd place position until the race ended. My XRAY truggy was dialed throughout the whole weekend with minor adjustments. Thanks to XRAY for making a superior product to sustain a 45 minute race without any problems.

The 8th scale buggy for the A-main consisted of Jared Tebo, Ryan Lutz, Greg Degani, Billy Easton, and the rest of the drivers. I was pretty hyped to be in this race with Jared Tebo. Unfortunately, Tebo had problems along with Lutz. I battled with Jared for the initial 10min of the main until he fell out of the race with technical difficulties. From there on end, I was able to hold the lead and capture the championship for XRAY, VP Pro USA Tires and Accessories.
