The Pre-Femca Cup was held on May 30th at the RCC Glenmarie track in Malaysia. The track was hard packed with a few big airs and not a lot of bite.

In the qualification heats, Atsushi Hara secures a TQ followed by John Agus and XRAY driver Stanley Wangsanegara. Top 10 qualification drivers qualified directly to the main final and another 5 bumped up from semi-fnals. In the end, eight XRAY drivers qualified for the main finals.
Stanley Wangsanegara had a good start in the final and make his way up to 2nd place while Hara was stretching his lead and leaving the rest of the pack ito battle amongst themselves. Unfortunately, the very hot and humid weather took its toll and almost every driver suffered from engine flameouts, among them Meen Vejrak and in the end Atsushi Hara. Engine mounting troubles brought Stanley Wangsanegara's buggy into the pits, causing him to lose a lot of time. XRAY driver Charlee Phutiyotin triumphed over the race conditions and battles on the track to take the win a lap ahead of Atsushi Hara and John Agus.
