The Dutch VG Cup was held recently at the Model Racing Midland track in Lelystad, attracting racers from across Holland.

This track is known as one of the most technical circuits in the Netherlands for GP cars with a length of 249m. Lap times average 21.21sec with 15 lap runs being achieved in the 5 minute qualifiers.
The 3 qualifying heats proved to be very competitive with Bart Wubbens setting the lap record with 19.03sec, and the entire field grouped closely together for times.

I started 4th on the grid for the 30 minute final. After some intense battles, I was able to work my way up to 2nd position. Trouble in the pits pushed me back to third position, and tire wear later in the race prevented me from pushing to recover the lost time.
Bart drove a clean race with his NT1 to secure the win.
