The Portuguese Cup was held during the October 3-4 weekend at the Sintra track.
In Stock class there was Rui Almeida who finished 3rd in his first national championship final battle. (Rui qualified second on the grid for the finals.) Pole sitter Helder Silva had electronics problems that delayed the first final by 10 minutes, so he had to start at the back of the grid which allowed Rui to win the first final. In the second final, Rui very precisely overtook Helder in the first corner and never looked back, which made him the winner of the Portuguese Cup in Stock class.
Modified class, Joao Malveiro showed spectacular speed right in the beginning of the day. With superb driving he claimed the pole position. Winning the two first finals Joao Malveiro became national champion of the 2009 Portuguese Cup. Nuno Gancho got 2nd place, and Hugo Miguel got 3rd place.
In the final results, XRAY made the top 4 qualifiers in the Portuguese Cup which shows that XRAY is doing quite a good job in Portugal.

XRAY did amazing work in Portugal becoming National Champion in Modified class with Nuno Gancho in 2008 and 2009, 3rd place Joao Malveiro, 4th place Hugo Miguel, and 5th place Jo?o Martinho. In the Portuguese Cup the first four drivers were racing with XRAY, and Portuguese Cup Champion in Stock class with Rui Almeida.
