With most events cancelled over the christmas period due to snow Sunday the 3rd was the first day that events could commence. Another reasonable turn out made the trip to Clanfield for Rnd 2 off there winter series in sub zero temperatures. The track was frozen solid but would give several rounds of use befroe it thawed enough to make things Messy. With Boots & old team mate Brunsden adding to the drivers list racing again would be competitive & enough to keep team xray on there toes. A good turn out from the uk team gave a full tent plus many extra's around the pits.

A very short practice allowed those brave enough to slide around on the ice but gave no real benefit other than to learn the track direction.
Rnd 1 was very close with Bren Elliot & Kevin all hitting similar lap times, Bren starting off where he left the last meeting taking the round by 4 seconds over kevin so a good start. With Ben Kennett going 7th & Adrian Eaton 9th both for xray.
Rnd 2 with a few tweaks to suit conditions again led to a very close run with kevin this time taking the round Bren 2nd Adrian 5th & Ben 10th.
Rnd 3 the track started to thaw & would go sticky. Kevin choose to sit out but Bren would do battle with Elliot in a very close battle with Elliot just taking the round, Bren 2nd, Adrian 6th & Ben 8th.
Rnd 4 & saw dust was used to dry out the track. Bren, Elliot & Kevin all with a chance of the overall TQ led to a very good race with Kevin taking the round Bren 2nd & Ben & Adrian doing enough to secure an A main place.

For the start of the Main Jon Wolfe after a torid day bumped up 3 finals from the bottom final went out early wil a flat battery. Ben would suffer a similar fate on lap 7 with electric related issues. Adrian had a great main to come home 4th leaving Bren Kevin & Elliott to battle it out for 20 mins. All of us would lead for sections, trade similar lap times & fastest laps with there being very little between them. The bumpy track caught us all out in its random choice of a victim with Bren & Elliott paying the heavier time period as being further from a marshall.
The result would end Kevin Elliott & Bren in a very close & evenly matched battle so thanks to those two for another great days racing.
