The MRCC Buggy Challenge was held in Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia which is just over 2 hours flight from Jakarta. The track is only 5 minutes from the Polonia International Airport. A total of 25 drivers attended the event . Weather temperature was about 36°C and around 40°C at the track. It was a high-speed track but dusty, with some tricky and technical areas. About 400L of vegetable oil was poured over the track, one day before the event.

The race format was three rounds of 10min qualifying, and three rounds of finals with bump ups. The average laptime was about 53 seconds. I could get down to 50.399sec during qualifying, and almost got TQ.

During the 45min Main Final, I started in position no.2. During the first 10 minutes, I dropped back to 12th position because so many cars hit me and made my car flip. I tried to drive fast and step-by-step overtook all the cars ahead of me. With 15 minutes to go, I was up to 2nd place and tried to drive steadily. I finished in 2nd place only 29sec behind the winner. My best lap was 50.142sec. The 2nd fastest laptime was Edy St with a 50.551sec.

On the Final, I finished with 47 laps; Edy St got 44 laps cause of an engine flameout. There's no big problem on our XRAY cars even though the track was very tricky and dusty. All the XRAY users were very happy with their carsâ quality.
