PGTC round #5 was held in Kyoto on August 8, 2010 and six drivers who just came back from the World Cup in Houston several days ago showed up to this event for the Open class; this included Shinnosule Yokoyama, Takehiro Terauchi, Takumi Matsuda, and others. These drivers were fun to talk to as they shared their experiences of the World Cup with other drivers and friends at the opening of the track.

There were two classes: Open class and Sports class. Qualifying, final and technical inspection rules and procedures were all the same for both classes. Qualifying was 5 minutes and the final was an Xmas tree system.

Shinnosuke Yokoyama had some engine problems from using different fuel throughout the 3 qualifying rounds, which caused him to be low but he bumped up from the ? final to the main final and then finished 2nd (7seconds behind the leader).
