The Western Australia State Titles were held from the 15th to 17th April at Model off road buggy club with a great turn out for team XRAY. Justin Snape, KC Shore, Brent Thomas and Jaicob Mann all representing Team XRAY. With perfect weather conditions for the entire event, made for some real close racing as the track grooved up nicely. The high bite with Technical sections made real close racing which made for some great spectator viewing as well.

Friday was qualifying and having a few engine dramas, sorted them out and young Jaicob Mann (14) had the XT8 well on race pace and after a few tweaks with suspension and a springs saw the XT8 handling very well, We continued to have a good run and made Semi finals, This was a very hard and close fort race but in the end Jaicob put his XT8 in 4th position. With a great start in the A main Jaicob was running 3rd when the top rear linkage assemble came loose and allowed the dog bone to come out and later forced us to retire.

The 45min Buggy final was super close and with Justin Snape, KC Shore and Young Jaicob Mann in the A Main Xray had a good showing the racing was fast and the drivers put in a great drive proving the New 808 is a great main platform. Jaicob found some extra pace mid race and clawed back from 9th to 7th with a great drive and then KC Shore followed. The 2011, 808 was rock solid through the hole main.
