Victory went to driver Claus Nielsen (XRAY/Novarossi/Bryon) for TQ and fastest lap of the entire race, and 2nd place went to Peter Harder (XRAY/Novarossi/Byron).
It was a solid performance of the Team NorthTQ throughout the first round of the Danish nationals. Peter Harder secured TQ after the first 3 rounds of qualifying and the fourth and last round were a fight for the next places. Best of them were Silas Hogholt and Rune Gustavsen.
Sub-finals and semi-finals saw some good and close racing for bump-ups. Bad luck struck some of the top drivers to leave A-main spots open for other drivers to battle for the win in the 45min A-main.
NorthTQ had four team drivers in the final and after 5 minutes it was clear that the winner looked to be Claus Nielsen (XRAY/Novarossi), Rune Gustavsen (Kysoho/SH), or Peter Harder (XRAY/Novarossi). These three drivers swapped positions many times and it was a clean and thrilling fight. It came down to the very last lap with Claus Nielsen and Peter Harder battling for the win. At the end it was Claus who took a well-deserved win and one of the most exciting finals in 1:8 off-road for many years.
