After three rounds in Scandiano, Rome and Bologna, Team XRAY won all classes in the national UISP championship
Stock Class
In the first race (Scandiano) Pernice got TQ and won the race by winning two finals. In Rome at the second round, Rossi and Facheris got 1st and 2nd to reopen the championship. In Bologna at the third round, Pernice and Rossiwere battled for the title. The rain and difficult conditions allowed the experience of Pernice to stay in front of his rival to win the race and championship. Rossi had to retire due to an electronics failure.
SuperStock Class
Amadesi, Redaelli and Macchioni â“ all with T3 â“ battled for the race; the finals were really hard. The close battle between these three drivers made victory uncertain until the last final. It was then that Macchioni beat Redaelli and Amadesi and set that order on podium. At the second round, again Macchioni was the winner and claimed the national title one race in advance of the end.

Modified Class
I set all record in the first race at the Scandiano track. Francesco's T3 was really fast with Simari 2nd, Donatelli 3rd, and Torregiani finishing 6th. In Rome, rain remixed the results. I won the first final in wet conditions, but local drivers got better results (again in rain) in the second final. I had an electronics âśblack out.âť In the last race at Bologna, I again had bad luck in qualifying and got 4th place. Again there was rain on the final day, but with the experience or racing in rain at the previous race I prepared my car well and was able to win the two finals and the championship!
