The 10th TITC was held again at RC Addict. This year, about 300 drivers participated in the 5-class race: Mini, F1, FWD, Open Brushless, and Modify. There were even 4 former and current ISTC EP World Champions!

24, Feb 2012 Qualifiers
In Q1 a few mistakes put me in 2nd spot behind Jilles (Tamiya) but only 0.01sec separated us.
In Q2 with a start in the 2nd spot, I tried to catch the Q1 TQer. My new fresh battery had very good power and I was able to catch him and top the qualifier list in the second qualifying run.
Q3 was run without results being counted, as some drivers complained about the control insert breaking too easily. So the organizer announced that Q3 would be a special paractice for new insert. After Q3 all drivers were happy with the new tyre insert and looked forward to Q4,5 and 6 the next morning.

25, Feb 2012 Qualifiers
Q4: It seemed to me that morning time is not my time, and again I came 2nd.
In Q5 with a clean run I was again able to catch Q4 TQer and again top the list for this run.
Then came Q6 which would decide the overall Top Qualifier. I stayed calm and with a mistake-free run I was able to claim TQ in the final qualifier.

26, Feb 2012 Final
After 5 rounds of one of the toughest qualifiers, the A-final grid lineup looked like this:

Final 1
With a good start, I was able to get in front. In the second lap at the end of straight I clip the inner curb and spun, so Hara in 2nd position passed me. I sat in 2nd position and concentrated on my driving and was able to get past him and took the first final run.

Final 2
I spun at the start and fell back to 3rd spot behind Jilles and Hara. After 2 minutes I had a chance to pass Hara for 2nd position right before the straightaway but we hit and my car flipped. This put me back to 5th spot at the end.

Final 3
Again Jilles and I had to fight for top spot, and Hara was also in contention as he took 2nd place in both earlier finals. I put all my concentration at the start of final 3 and was able to get in front. Again with a mistake-free run I managed to run in front of both contenders and take home the 10th TITC Championship Modified class. Thanks to the new thinner upper and lower chassis of T3 â™12 had more flex for the extremely hot track in Thailand and excellent power house from LRP.
