This is the first in Malaysia 8 HOURS endurances challenge has been brought up by Jeban Sdn bhd incorporative with RC Centre Miri located in East Malaysia Sarawak state. Every RC enthusiast found this is extremely amazing and is going to be very exciting event for the Malaysian. The XRAY Team in Malaysia decided to form this endurance team for this event. By the way there is also another XRAY Team from the East Malaysia form by a RC passionate Farther with their 2 kids (Son :Riffat Hijazi and daughter Haidah Hafni) into this event. They are from Kuching state and they decided to name their team as âśTeam Kuchingâť.

The rules are only 1 car kit is allow to use for the entire event and if anythingâ™s are broken the team have to repair the car (no complete car kit are allow to swap just by transferring the personal transponder are receiver). The racing car kit chassis has a marking by the organizer. Only a piece of spare chassis have to submit to the organizer for safe keeping, if the racing car kit chassis is broken then the participant have to show the broken chassis to the organizer and a new marking will be mark on the spare chassis before changing it into the racing car kit.

On Saturday practice we have tried few setting but eventually we found the standard setting is the best for endurance, is just because of very easy to drive and it will be very comfortable for the entire 8 hours challenge. So the Team decided to go for it and just change the 1piece engine mount for fast changing clutch bell bearings.

After the group photo and briefing the event started at 9am sharp according the schedule. Team XRAY started at 5th position After about 1 hour race Team XRAY Malaysia are in 3rd position leading car by Team TLR (Losi) and Team RCCM (Hong Nor). Then come to about 3 and half hour Team XRAY Malaysia are in 2nd position, after about 4 hour Team XRAY leading the race till the end of event.

In the end we are very satisfied with the XRAY XB9 performance and reliability. Is really superbâ¦!!! We have zero broken parts on the car only changing the clutch bell bearings when is necessary.
