Race report by Reno Savoya
Located in Belfort, close to Switzerland border, the TTR90 club did a great job to prepare the track for this event, as the rain ruined everything a few days before the event. The track was very tight and technical, not like what we were used to for the last couple of weeks in Austria. I managed to have the perfect car-tire package only in the last qualifier, and I couldn't really fight for TQ before that.

In the semi, I pushed a lot as my car was amazing. We changed the shock oil and sway bars to something softer for the semi practices, and it made a huge difference on the track. Before, it was too hard to drive and I was crashing too much. Also, a thicker front and center diff made the car more stable in the grippy portions of the track. I ran the Multiflex system fully rigid, and the difference was huge in the high-speed corners.

Sebastien Mutel, the local guy from the team, did a great job placing his XB9 directly into the semi. He ended up really close to the final bumping spot for the semi. Goob job!
Quentin Le Gall had some bobbles in the qualifications and placed himself in the 1/8th before bumping up in quarters. Unfortunately for him, a wrong tire choice in his quarters prevented him from bumping up. Vincent Chefdeville had exactly the same trouble with tires, and had to retire in the 1/8th

I won my semi pretty easily, sweeping a clear lap over the field!

In the final, everything started great as we had a great battle for the top spot for the first 10 minutes. I was very close to the Aigoin brothers (Yannick and Jerome) for the lead.
Unfortunately, I had a problem with my glowplug and my engine flamed out at every refueling, so I had to push a lot every time to get back to 3rd spot! It was very frustrating as I did the entire race with the top 2 guys but with a 1 lap difference!
