On Sunday 22nd of April, rounds 5 and 6 of the Maltese Buggy Championship were held at the M.M.O.R.R.C Off-Road track. The day was sunny and very hot which saw many drivers fine tune their engines to cope with the change in temperature. The track did not have much grip so it was also a matter of choice with regards to tyre selection.
Each round consisted of 7 minutes free practice and a 20 minute race. Team XRAY driver Kyle Spiteri managed to TQ both rounds with 29 laps in the 5th round and 30 laps in the 6th round.
