Race report by Nawaf Al-Abdulrazak
It was the first time I ever ran an electric buggy, my main objective at the race was to learn how to drive the buggy and setup the car in a racing environment, the track in Thailand Pattaya as it was a fast track with minimal jumps, so driving the electric buggy with fast sweeping bends and simple sequencing jumping just made it even more fun.

The buggy handled nicely right out of the box, but the track did require a little fine tunning, harder springs, smaller piston and heavier shock oils due to weather temps. The final setup of the car was not too far off from my XB9 as I was also racing the nitro class.

The XB808E took a lot of abuse from me, expecially not knowing how to maximise on the electric power band that was abunduntly available so there was plenty of hard crashes and bad landings, but at the end of the day after a couple of runs I managed to figure out things and gradually got into the rythm of driving the electric buggy.

I was not even paying attention to the overall race results just enjoying my time driving the electric buggy and figuring out things as I go, at the end of the day the buggy did not let me down and I managed to place overall 3rd in the category without any intention to even make a podium finish.
