The first round of Mibosport Cup was held 27.10 in Hrotovice, the place when the second round of ETS will take place. The race was attended by more than 110 drivers from 6 diffent countries. Modified class with 38 drivers was the most attended class with the highest competition as well.

The race started already on Friday evening with free practice. On Saturday we had 3 rounds of qualifiers with one best result to count and three finals. Because of the 1 fastest qualifier rule, the race was interested to the last minute. My car was working really good right from the beginning and did not have to change much from the basic set up. The only changes that I made during the day was that I put 2.5 springs in front to make the car steer little less at the beginning of the corner and in order to improve mid corner steering. I also lay down the front shocks one position for same reason, and put 1,000 oil into the diff to make the car stable in chicanes. Other than that, I used basic carpet set up and car was working really good whole day.

I was able to TQ the race when I made the fastest first qualifier. I also won second round but that was not that fast. Last qualifier won Zdenko Kunak as I made a mistake in first minute but he was not able to beat my result from first round. The finals was big show as me and Zdenko Kunak were fighting for the win.

In both first finals we pull away from the rest of the field easy and had our own fight. As I was leading I had to keep defence driving stile to not allow Zdenko to pass. Even sometimes Zdenko pushed too much all was in fair play and we were able to finish in both finals as we start and the difference between us from 1st to last lap was not more than 0.2 sec. Third finished Rene Klockner from Germany who showed also some very nice and fast driving and thanks to that he was able to improve his 7th qualifier position.

What make me happy that all Xray drivers who used T4 were really happy with the car performance as the car was very easy and stable. It was amazing to watch drivers which have very aggressive driving stile as they were really fast same as with old car but this time they were making no mistakes. Mainly Manuel Singer from Austria surprised me a lot as last year he was always in B main and this time he finished 5th and was making same quick lap times as the fastest drivers.
The big thanks belongs to Michal Bok, organization of the race, who made perfect race and all run smoothly and everyone of us enjoyed the race. Well done!!!

This week we had first race with new Xray XB4 on Czech race MIBOSPORT CUP. I had almost no experience with this class, not enough to know what to do on carpet track. But XB4 was so easy and fast that my little to none experience did not matter. We made a few changes on set-up but car was super fast and super easy to drive anyway. I was more than 1 second faster per lap then any other drivers and very consistent. Car felt very stable. I TQed the qualification with the fastest lap and 1 lap ahead other drivers. In final I start from pole position and never looked back.
I won all free finals with more than 1 lap ahead the runner up.
I think new XB4 has a very good potential for wining races. XRAY once again prooved its qualities.
