Last weekend, on the 13/14th April, at the "Mini AutĂłdromo" track in Torres Novas (Circuit in the center of Portugal where will be held the European Championship 2013 in August) it took place the 2nd round of the Portuguese Onroad 1/10 200mm Nitro National Championship. The track has a very technical tight layout for the "fast and furious" nitro cars, this is very demanding for the drivers and concentration should be at the maximum level through all the race day. The track staff is very welcoming and cozy, this also contributes for a good and special atmosphere of the race.
Recently signed XRAY team driver, Bruno Coelho, is always the man to beat at this championship, he is a very good driver and also his father is the perfect mechanic. This time it was not very diferent from the last race, Bruno showed very well doing TQ for the main with his very first time with the XRAY NT1'13, but in the main it was time for the portuguese rising star Pedro Sousa who showed up his potencial. With a faultless race he reached the 30 minutes final in the Top spot and won the race with 4 laps ahead of Bruno. Team XRAY was also most representative team in the main with 5 drivers making their way up trough the semi-finals.
