The Astra Nitro Cross 2013 was held last weekend at Auto Bayer arena in Slavkov u Brna. This event is the largest in Czech Republic. Many drivers from other countries come to this event. Being an organiser and also driver at the same time kept me pretty busy all weekend long.

The track was really nice. We had banked turns, technical corners and difficult jumps. On Friday we had little rain so the race started little later than planned . Due to the rain we had only 2 practice rounds and 1 qualification round. First practice round was ran on a wet track but fit quiclky dired out. I TQed both categories, electro and also nitro with my 808E and XB9´13. I used my basic set-up and I changed only few details. Cars felt really good so I didnâ™t make any changes in set-up for Saturday.
On Saturday 4 rounds of qualification were ran. In the morning I again TQed first qualification in both classes. 5 minutes before the third run a heavy rain interrupt the racing for a while and organizers had to cancel the third run and get the water out of the track.
Finals were on schedule on Sunday. With my XB808E I won first two main runs and took the overall win. With my XB9´13 I was struggling a little bit in semis but still I took the win and got the pole position on final grid. My XB9´13 was really consistent so I could push and making no mistake I was able to take home another win.Overall, it was very good weekend for me getting 2x TQ and 2x win.
