Last weekend the Nordic championship for 1/10th scale 2wd and 4wd buggy was held. The event was blessed with the best possible weather on both Saturday and Sunday. After the two practice heats Otto Ausfelt was the fastest driver only .3 seconds before XRAY driver Kennie Ekenstierna and on third place was Nicolaysen from Norway trailing by one second. In the qualifiers Kennie Ekenstierna was able to win three out of the four rounds and was the TQ of the day after some impressive driving and close battles primarily with Otto Ausfelt.

The finals would prove to give some close racing between two evenly matched drivers in Otto Ausfelt and Kennie Ekenstierna. A1 was won by Kennie Ekenstierna with a seven second gap down to Otto over the finish line. A2 was won by Christoffer Svensson who finished third in A1, trailed by Kennie and Otto on third. For A3 there was three possible winners in Svensson, Kennie and Otto. Otto won A3 with a 1,5 second gap to Kennie and Svensson on third. With both Otto and Kennie having one win each and second best for both was a second place it came down to looking at who had the quickest win heat â“ which was Otto.
