The last round of the 2013 Italian Championship took place at the fantastic track in Cassino. Raiola Carmine was very close to the championship title after taking the win in Gubbio and being 4th in Bologna. His RX8 was getting faster and faster every round.
On Saturday, only two rounds of the qualifying could be run due to the rain. Carmine finished 6th but was in a good pace for the finals.
In the finals we saw a thrilling one hour race! Carmine was driving safe to keep the 3rd place which was enough for the overall victory.His competitors who need to win were driving fat to get the 1st place. Carmine avoid any kind of fighting and his 3rd final position in the race brought him the 2013 national champion title, a really prestigious title in the Italian country where 8 scale is the main class with best world drivers!
