State of Terengganu and Tommy Han, owner of the track, on east coast of Malaysia hosted on Sept 29th 2013 the East Coats Malaysian Championship. Well organized with good facilities too. On Saturday we flew to the east coast, got our practice done immediately and then went straight to the hotel to get some rest and get ready for Sunday racing.
Early morning, as usually we were excited and jumping all around the place. After qualification rounds Boy Chan was TQ with his XB9, followed by other XRAY drivers Tommy Han in 3rd, Yong 4th, Ku Chi Seong 10th and Suah 12th.
45minutes final started and some accidents in the 1st lap caused Boy Chan drop to 3rd position. Next lap he was back in the lead until in 15min mark when his engine flamed out and mechanic hed to get his car re-started. Boy Chan was again in third behind Ku Chi Siong (XRAY) and Daniel Law. In the 30 minute mark unlucky Ku Chi Seongâ™s servo failed leaving Daniel Law and Boy Chan to fight for the win. In the last 5 minutes Boy Chan managed to overtake Daniel Law and win the race.
