Race report by Edu Escandon
Last race of 2013 Spanish Nationals was held in Madrid (September 27-29) at the magnificent track in Getafe, it was the first time that Nationals visited this track, so was completely new for me. A total of 70 drivers were in attendance.

Friday was free practice, where all drivers search for the best set-up. Qualifying started on Saturday in wet conditions due to intermittent rain, being the third round the only one in dry conditions. I had some problems in this run so at the end of the
qualif. I was 6th, but really confident for Sunday finals.

Sergi Franch (XRAY) had a clear run, taking TQ honours, with Inaki Pahissa (XRAY) in third position.

Qualifying results:

1. Sergi Franch - XRAY NT1

2. Victor Pelaez
3. Inaki Pahissa - XRAY NT1
4. Jonhy Pastor
5. Juan Hidalgo
6. Edu EscandĂłn - XRAY NT1
7. Nacho Lopez
8. Fabio Barbosa - XRAY NT1

Sunday I started on Pole for the Semi B final. I took an easy win after the 20 minutes, with Fabio Barbosa (XRAY) finishing in 2nd place.

One more time, XRAY was the most popular brand in the main, with 4 cars. The final went pretty well for me, I could overtake all the drivers who started in front of me winning the race and securing the national tittle. My NT1 simply worked perfect.

XRAY also won +40 National Championship.

1. Jose Aldudo - XRAY NT1

José had a great final with no mistakes in the 30 minutes and being very confident with his NT1. We have to mention, that although he is 40, he had been taking part in some main finals at the Nationals. I would like to thank Micromodel and Team XRAY for giving me the opportunity to race with XRAY cars. XRAY have the best quality, performance and team support of the world.

Looking foward to the next season!
