T4 wins Automodelli race, IT |

| Because the carpet season and the first international big carpet race in Vegas is coming soon, I wanted to be well prepared. I wanted to make sure that I have good starting set up for the new T4 2014. Due to this reason, I decided to go for couple of days testing to Scandiano, which is one of my favorite tracks as the track is run by very friendly and enthusiastic club members and has very high and consistent traction which is perfect for testing. As usualy I did some testing with Francesco Martini and we found very good basic set up which was super easy to drive, consistent, yet fasť. Francesco told me that his friend Davide Karbone, who has hobbyshop and sells XRAY, is organizing outdoor race near Milan. And because Milan is close to Scandiano, I decided to join this club race as well. It was also a great opportunity to meet new drivers and especially XRAY drivers. |

| The race was held on 22.9 on big and fast asphalt track near Milan, attended by almost 100 drivers in 4 classes. The track was open for open practice on friday and saturday but because me and Francesco arrived on Sunday morning, we were allowed to make 2 practice runs to learn the track. I knew that even it is club meeting, only with two practice runs it would be difficult to be fast. We used LRP spec tires and therefore I decided to use same set up that I use at the European Championships in Portugal. I was really surprised that I drove on completely different layout, track surface and in different temperature, but the set up was fantastic. After 5 laps when I learned the layout and I started to feel the car, I knew that this set up is fantastic and I do not have to change anything. We ran 3 qualifiers and the best one was counted. I set a best TQ time already in the first run. Francesco was super fast with the set up from EC as well but he struggled with trafic a lot and that is why he was not able to make one clean run and qualified 5 th. |

In the stock class the qualifiers were dominated by XRAY driver Marco Puleo.
The finals were smooth for me. I won all 3 finals in front of Andrea Simari whom I did not see at the race for couple years and I really enjoyed to drive with him after such a long time. Thanks to the practice advantage, he was really fast and mainly thanks pto the additive knowledge advance, he was able to make some pressure after the start for couple minutes. Francesco finished 3rd. He had a good chance to finish 2nd because he was fast enough but the 5th starting position was difficult.

In the stock class, the race was among 3 drivers, Marco Puleo, Nico Catelani, and Umberto Pernice. TQ driver Marco made a mistake in the first final which Nico won and in the third final which won Umberto. Marco and Nico had same points but Nico had faster final run and won in front of Marco and Umberto
After the price ceremony, there was a tombola for drivers and almost every driver won some price from the race organizor. There were many XRAY And HUDY prizes as well which were greatly appreciated by the drivers.
The race was held in great and friendly atmosphere and I really enjoyed the race and I was more than happy that I joined the race as I had a lot of fun with my very good friends and also I was able to meet our new customers.
