Race report by Adrian Berntsen
The 2014 Norwegian championship was hosted by ※Spydeberg Motorklubb※ in the small village of Spydeberg during the weekend of March 7th-9th. The practice started after the 600m2 track was build on Friday evening. The raceformat was the round-by-round system with the best 2 out of 5 qualification to count.

After the qualification it was pretty clear that I was going to have to TQ spot after winning all of the 3 qualification rounds as I was able to be a part of, after having to go to work for the last two qualifiers on saturday. Petter Berntsen took the win in the two other qualifiers, and therefore secured the 2nd spot for the finals in front of Rune Svest?l.

In all of the three finals I could easily cruise to victory finishing nearly a lap ahead of Petter Berntsen who controlled in to 2nd and claimed the silvermedal. Rune Svest?l took the bronze medal with to 3rd place scores, while Kjell Gunnar Guttormsen took the bittersweet 4th place, with one 3rd place score and one 4th.

In the 1/12th class, the level was very high with all of the top drivers attending including a couple of swedish drivers also attending. Xray driver Lars Haugen was the quickest during qualification and took the TQ spot in front of Helge Johannesen and the swedish ace Alexander Andersson.

After the first two finals with a lot of action Lars and Alexander had one win each, but still 5 different drivers was able to win, including ?yvind Stusdal, Helge J and Joakim Waale L?ken as well Lars and Alex. In the third final Lars started from TQ being pushed hard by the guys behind. Helge, Alex and Lars changed on being the leading car numerous time during the run, but it in the it was Alex who took the leg win and therefore also the overall win. But since the rules says only norwegian drivers can be crowned the norwegian champion, this meant Lars Haugen would take home the title, in front of Oyvind Stusdal and Helge Johannesen.
