We had a strong starting field for this event with also Hupo Hönigl in attendance, two time 1/8 nitro Austrian Champion Martin Karner, 2011 Euro warm-up finalist and Euros finalist in Wölbling, Bauer Dominic and myself.
On Saturday we drove the first qualifying round. I drove a safety run without mistakes but was not fast enough and Martin Karner win the run 0,003sec in front of me. On Sunday I push more and won round 2 and round 4 and got the TQ spot. In the semifinal I had to fight with Martin and finished 4 seconds in front of him we were the fastest in the 20min semifinals and started from first two spots on the final grid.

For the final run I put the new tires on. The influence was significant and I was much faster. Martin was on my tail after first 10 minutes and after some trouble while refueling my pitman realized we have to make one pit stop more than Martin. However with a good speed and no mistakes I was able to secure the win 1 lap ahead the 1st runner up.
After this race it looks very well for me in the 2014 Austrian championship so far as I won two out of two races, it cannot be better than that.
