Race report by Mark Gilliland
Round 4 of the Irish national 1:10 TC championship was in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. The track is fast and flowing being built for 1:5 scale. The conditions were dry but cold and windy.

Qualys:

The grip improved throughout qualifying, but the wind was causing real issues through the fast chicane section before the main straight. The conditions were the same for everybody and i was able to take TQ from Graham Kenny with Andrew Smith (XRAY) taking 3rd on the grid.

Finals:

The first final was tricky and the wind had really picked up causing a few random slides. I had a big spin out coming through the chicane dropping down to 3rd. A mistake let Andrew Smith into the lead half way through the race, but with 2 mins to go i managed to squeeze through and open up a gap of 3 seconds to claim the win.

The second final was similar to the first with Andrew challenging and passing at one stage although i managed to repass and open up a gap at the line.

The third final was easy with conditions improving and the win in the bag. I was able to lead from start to finish with Andrew fighting for 2nd. All three finals finished in that order.
