Race report by Zsolt Bajusz
Last weekend the 2nd annual XRAY Challenge Hungary event was held at the famous Hungarian Formula-1 race track, Hungaroring. Drivers really enjoyed the large and wide RC racetrack, from the electric stock spec class to the large scale touring cars. While the weather continuously changed between rainy autumn and sunny summer, there was only a few rounds, when the wet tires became efficient on the cars at all during the weekend.

For the electric cars there was 3 times 5 minutes qualification and 3 times 5 minutes final runs, as usually, while for the nitro cars we established a new system with 3 times 15 minutes finals, where the first final started by the qualification order, the second as opposite and the last based on the first two final overall result.

In the 1/10 Electric Stock Spec class ("blinky" speedo + 13.5T + controlled gearing) Zsolt Kalnay keep his form from the Hungarian championship on carpet, and won the first two final with his XRAY T4 car.

In the 1/10 200mmm Nitro Stock class (controlled "low budget" engine) there was a nice competition between the top 3 driver of the championship. Finally Tamas Sagi has won the class.

In the 1/10 200mm Nitro class (EFRA rules) Zsolt Bajusz dominated the first two final with his XRAY NT1 car and MAX engine, so he finished on the top of the podium. Behind Zsolt there was a nice fight between Laszlo Kiss-Orban (leader of the Hungarian championship series) and Balazs Bihari (last years 1/10 200mmm Nitro Stock class champion).

In the 1/8 Nitro On-road class we have seen again Tamas Sagi to win, who dominated the first two final, while Peter Kelbert was able to win only the last final, and took the 2nd place. On the last step of the podium finished the young and talented newcomer Bendeguz Gyulai.

And finally in the 1/5 touring class we have seen a serious competition between the top drivers of the championship series, and finally the "home team" finished on the podium.
