The PSS (ProStockSeries) season final 2014 was held at the huge track of AMC Lahntal with great atmosphere and sun all over the weekend. The classes run were 1/10 & 1/8 Nitro. The fast and also technical track conditions had been difficult sometimes causing of bumpy corners which made it not easy for everyone to find a perfect set-up. But the track is really nice.
The XRAY team was represented by David Ranft, Michael Holla, me and many others.

In 1/10 Nitro David Ranft who was leading the season so far found a good setup for his NT1 already on Friday where many drivers had been come for testing. So he was able to set a good qualifying run on Saturday and were allowed to start directly in the final on 2nd. I had not so much luck in the qualifying because I had bad luck I had to change my engine two times. So I was only able to end on 5th place after Q4.
Causing this I had to start from 1st in ? final A. After nearly 15 minutes in the ? final with a perfect feeling NT1 and two brilliant pit stops of Anke MĂĽller I was able to be 2 rounds in the lead. Unfortunate no win and no final for me because of my rear shock which lost the spring while I was overtaking someone two mintues before the end.
In the final David Ranft started as mentioned before from 2nd behind Andreas Schuch.
David was incredible fast and were able to lead 25 minutes. Unfortunately he also had problems with his rear shock. Anke and I tried to glue it so he could have been able to bring it to the end but this cost too much time and he finished on 3rd position.
So David unfortunately was not able to win the season overall and finished on 3rd.
I was able to finish as the best junior today and also over the season.

In 1/8 Nitro Michael Holla who was on 2nd so far this season was able to improve his setup for his RX8 during the qualifying. So he was able to set a good Q4 and started directly in the final on 2nd behind Alexander Schmitt.
In the 30 minutes final he was also quite fast but had a lot of engine problems after 20 minutes and wasn´t able to push so much. He finished on 3rd with an engine which hat about 160 degrees.
Michael was able to finish the season on 2nd.

We had XRAY this weekend on 3rd 1/10 (David Ranft), 3rd 1/8 (Michael Holla) and best junior 1/10 (Jannick Namyslo)
This season overall XRAY finished on 3rd 1/10 (David Ranft), 2nd 1/8 (Michael Holla) and also as best junior over the season 1/10 (Jannick Namyslo).
