The second W.E.S. (Winter Electric Series) race took place again at the beautiful Genius Ring track in Medeuzza (Udine) in Italy which attracted 42 drivers from Slovenia and Italy. Zeno and his staff made an excellent job also this time and prepared all the facilities just perfectly.
Saturday we had free practice and already about half of drivers were present on the track trying to find the best set-up for Sundayâ™s race.
This time also the 1/10 F1 class made its debut and we could see how nice these cars are. Sunday we had another 1h of free practice and after the briefing we started the event with qualification.
In 1/10 F1 it was Stefano Lupi taking TQ, in 1/10 Touring Stock TQ was Rok Rudl (XRAY T4) who after many years of pause came back with some good performances. In 1/10 Touring Modified it was the winner of the 1st W.E.S. race Alojzij Osvald (XRAY T4) who was TQ, while in the 1/12 Open class it was again Jernej Vuga (XRAY X12) who was TQ.
The finals started after lunch break with some really exciting battles.
