HUDY Indoor Champs were held at ProlevelRC in Saint Louis, MO. On January 2nd,3rd and 4th of 2015. Factory drivers Paul Lemieux and Drew Ellis were in attendance for the race. I had a little advantage with it being my home track.
The format was three qualifiers on Saturday with a dinner for the racers. One qualifier and the mains on Sunday. The race was very laid back with plenty of track time for drivers to test many things. Myself and Paul were able to help and spend time with all the racers.

Classes that were ran at the race were 1/12 stock, TC stock, TC mod, USGT and F1.
In 1/12 stock, it was a three way battle with Andrew Dorothy, Shawn Rayfield and myself for qualifying. I was able to secure TQ with my XRAY X12'15 by less then a thousandth over Andrew Dorothy with his XRAY X12'15. Shawn would end up third less then a second back from us.
In TC stock, BIlly Sydor was the early pace setter. Jimmy Piersol was doing his best to keep things close. Billy Sydor held on to take TQ and Jim Piersol would start second.

In USGT, Jim Hugget was setting the pace with Tom Newlon close behind. Jim was able to hang on to TQ with Tom starting second.

In F1, Skip Starkey with his brand new XRAY X1 was laying some fast runs down. Jack Klober was pushing it also. Skip ended up with TQ with the debut of his new XRAY X1. Jack would have to settle for starting second.

In TC mod, Paul was just on it. I was doing my best to keep him honest. His car was working really well. Well of course Paul TQ'ed, he is Paul Lemieux. I settled for starting second.

To make things fun Paul decided to have everyone start the mains in reverse order. Everyone was good sports about it, so that's what we did. TQ's went to the back and so on. The mains were very exciting because of the reverse start.
