Race report by Mathieu Briere
This weekend in Montbrison was held the 4th and last round of the French Winter Championship.
I attended this race in TC modified and F1.

Formula 1
In Formula 1, the week end started very well with TQ in the first 2 qualification but some test and mistakes in the 3 remaining heats made me finish 2nd overall. The finals went better with great fights with Jérémy Limoge, Georges Saux and Julien Jost!
I managed to win the first and third final after great battles, I finish 3rd of the 2nd final after leading for 7min before I made a little mistake just before the end. But this allow me to take the overall win in front of Jérémy Limoge and Georges Saux, both on XRAY X1 too!
With this podium finish is Jeremy Limoges the Winter French Champion in formula class with XRAY X1.

In TC modified, my car was great from the begining and very easy to drive. I had to work on the car to find better steering but didn't had to change a lot.
I managed to qualify 3rd overall behind Cyril N'Diaye and Jeremy Limoge (XRAY).
First final won Cyril in front of Alexandre Laurent (XRAY) and I managed to finish 3rd having started with used tyres.
Second final, I started with my second set of tyres, I managed to challenge Cyril during the whole final but he finally managed to win this one too and i finished 2nd and Jeremy 3rd.
I won the third final in front of Alexandre and JĂ©remy. This result allowed me to secure the 2nd overall position.
This 2 place overall allowed me to become the new 2014/2015 Winter French Champion!!
