The first round of the 2015 South-African ORE national championship were held at TRAP Pretoria over weekend 21 and 22February 2015 with track temperatures reaching 65⁰ C (149⁰ F). With a nice open and fast layout the boosted classes showed great high speed racing between the top drivers.
Touring Modified
The touring modified class again provided for some spectacular high-speed racing reaching speeds of 105km/h during the finals. The 2014 champion Jason Hillcoat continued his good form with his XRAY by taking TQ and win after some good battles with team mates Antonio Caroli and Shaun Schutte.

The young talent Jacques Myburgh dominated from the start by taking TQ and both wins in the A Mains on his Front Wheel Drive debut.

The youngster Jacques Myburgh (XRAY T4) showed good form from practise and managed to take the TQ but with a penalty in the second main only managed second place. His XRAY team mate Dillon du Plooy had great pace in the finals and took the overall win in the 17.5T Touring with Willem Janse Van Rensburg completing the podium.
