Race report by Mario Spiniello
On a beautiful sunny day there was the 3rd race of Freedom Cup. During practice my NT1 2015 was always the fastest and I had no problem. After qualifying, David Loppini, who raced with the old NT1 2014, because he had not finished mounting the NT1 2015, got the TQ. Unfortunately I had trouble with many lapped drivers and I closed qualifying in second position in a second from TQ.

In the A-Main, I had to immediately return to the pits after two minutes to adjust the fuel mixture thus losing precious seconds. Halfway through the race, I had to re-regulate the engine mixture. Despite this, the pace of my car was very quick and I managed to reach the top spot with nine minutes to go, but unfortunately I had a flame out which meant I had to pit for about 1'46".

Once restarted, I tried to force, and I have to admit that the car was fast for all the duration of the main, in fact, in the last five minutes my race pace was like at the beginning, while all the other drivers were slower 3-4 tenths.

The main final was made up of both EXPERT and SENIOR drivers, in fact I finished third in the EXPERT, because the third and fourth drivers were SENIOR.

What to say? The new NT1 2015 is very fast and consistent during the entire duration of the race. I am very happy and I am convinced that we can achieve great results!
