XB4 wins EOS Final round

The last round of EOS took place in HUDY Racing Arena this weekend. For me it was one of the best EOS races just because track and everything around was very professional and on high-level.

On Thursday we had free practice and on Friday time practice. During practice everything went perfect so I was confident for race.

Saturday was day for 2WD. My car felt awesome but I didnâ™t finish first two qualification runs. We had 4 runs of qualifications with 2 best counted. I had to drive smart and without mistake.

In the end it put me only to 7th place on grid. I know it will be super difficult to fight for podium. My car had speed for win but from 7th place on starting grid I was able to overtake âśonlyâť 3 drivers and finish 4th overall.

On Sunday the 4WD racing was on schedule. I know it will be again very difficult to fight for top spots. In qualification I had good speed but not for TQ. I managed to finish 4x 2nd it put me 3rd on grid.

I knew I was faster than Lee and had to overtake Lee as soon as possible to catch Naoto. Naotao won first main with me in second place. In the second main I overtook Lee in first corner. Naoto crashed and broke his car in first lap, so I easily took the lead and won second main.

Going to last main knew I had podium place secured. After start I pushed as hard as I could to get Naoto under pressure. I got ahead of Lee in first corner and was on Naoto's tale. A minute later he made a big mistake and I was in the lead.

Naoto was doing his maximum but I still kept things under control with huge lead until the end and brought home another victory. Super happy to defend the title in 4WD here in Trencin against such hard competition!

Also great performance from my teammates Martin Wollanka & Miguel Matias who despite of bad luck finished in 7th & 8th place.
