4th Round of French Nationals 1/10th Off-Road was held in Gonfreville lâ™Orcher next to le Havre. For this round, the track was made of Astro again.
In 2wd, weekend started very well with 2xTQ in first two round of qualifications. I made mistakes on round 3 and 4 which ended up with a 3rd position in each one, in 5th round of qualification the track was humid and I didnâ™t have the right set up. In the Last and 6th round of qualification I made the 2nd position which gave me the 2nd spot on the grid for the finals.
In the first final, I had crashes with other drivers and that didnâ™t allow me to finish better than 9th, in 2nd final, we had a big fight with Ludovic Valtier and Nicolas Risser with only 1sec difference in the end, so close that I did finish physically 2nd just in front of Nicolas Risser but final time result said I was 3rd at 0.01sec of Nicolas.

Third final was the same story, big fight again this time, I managed to take the lead at some point but made a little mistake which made me finish 4th, but again, physically 3rd on the track just in front of 4th but on time result it was 4th position 0.03 sec behind the 3rd one, so very very close and great battles in those final runs where I managed to get the 3rd position overall.
In 4wd, I managed to TQ the first 5 rounds of qualification and made 2nd in the 6th one at 0.3sec of another TQ. In final one I had to retire after 2 laps as I broke a front drive shaft, in the 2nd final, I was leading at some point but having a servo gear broken from the beginning I only managed to finish 2nd and I took the last 3rd final which gave me the 2nd spot overall.
Still a very good week even if the result could have been better but very happy with the pace I had as my cars were very fast and easy to drive on this difficult high traction track!
