The second annual March Meltdown was held March 10-12 at Action Hobbies Kingsville, near Windsor, ON, Canada. 79 entries from southwestern Ontario and theUS converged for an exciting weekend of racing.

Racers arrived early on Friday to test the new track layout and begin to make any changes they felt necessary prior to Saturday's qualifying sessions.

Drivers were quickly introduced to the technical nature of the CRC ozite track as the foam tires helped traction come up quickly putting a premium on handling. The cars were forced to react quickly and precisely or be forced to slow sacrificing time through the technical sections of the track.

After the final round of qualifying Sunday morning Xrays held TQ in all classes they raced in:

Racers are already looking towards next year's meltdown after track co-owner Chuck Swaddling announced plans to nearly double the size of the existing track. The proposed changes would increase the area from its current 2400 sq. ft. to over 4400 sq. ft.
