On Sunday, February 25, the Broendby Racing Club hosted the 4th round of the regional championship series, the Pilegaards-Cup.
My car felt really good for this race, and was pretty easy to drive in qualifying. Since my car was so good, I used the three rounds to make some changes to the car. After changing the damper settings and the flex settings, the car got a little faster. My closest competitor was Michael Priest, who changed to a Hot Bodies car for this race, but I was fastest in all 3 rounds of qualifying, and also made a new track record.
The first final was perfect. Michael was close in the beginning, but made some mistakes and so I made a gap. The car was still fine, but the tyres felt a little looser this time. Michael’s car broke down, and so did Nikolaj Hviid, so it was Kim Lindegaard who would take 2nd place with his T2’007, and his son Nicolai in third, also with a T2’007.
