German Championship ORE8 in Ober-Mörlen. The route around it, the food and the people were all perfect. Thanks to the club for sending a DM.
We tested a lot of tires in training and then decided on one and drove it all weekend. A little bit of setup change and my XRAY XB8E ran very, very well. My batteries were from LRP GmbH and my servo from Power HD (GTS 6), these components ran perfectly. I lubricate my ball bearings and shafts with DryFluids lubricants.
I was able to qualify for the final in the semi-final A and started from 4th place. The finals went really very well. In the third final I was even able to take second place. Overall, I came in a phenomenal 4th place at the German Championships. This is a great result for me. I am very proud of having achieved this.
Then there was the junior final, I was able to win both finals and am therefore German junior champion in ORE8.
I was very happy about that too.
