Report by David Perez
This was the second and last round of the Spanish championship, everything was up for grabs as being a 2 round championship both races count, but the two with the most chances to win were Luis Moreno and myself.

Being a 3 day race we had plenty of time to test and fine tune the car to better suit the conditions, surprisingly, from the get go I was able to clock over half a second faster than anyone else so that was a nice start. Nonetheless we kept pushing the limits of the car, electronics and track. I went over three seconds faster in 5 minutes than the previous test we had in the track.

On Saturday we started with controlled practice, were I did the first 21 second lap seeing in years, the car handling was amazing. We reseed first and Luis got second so the perfect start for the race.

In the three rounds of qualifying that we had on Saturday all went as well as we could expect for me. I went onto clinch TQ by making the three pole positions, while Luis got some bad luck in the first round and had to finish the job the later day.

On Sunday the other two rounds of qualifying went also smooth, were Luis could secure the second spot on the grid for the finals.

Finals didn’t have that much of an interest by my side, being able to lead all of the laps in all three finals. In the case of Luis he got onto a pretty nasty crash in the first final which put him under some pressure for the remainder two, anyway he was able to hold onto it and get two second positions. Which gave me the Spanish National title, him being Vice-champion.
