Raision Lukio Club race in Turku, Finland
The last race of the year is over and it took a while to recover from it. Two classes in one day is quite an achievement that requires pre-planning, a little help and no room for breaking the cars. Of course, eating and going to the bathroom is an achievement in itself.
Then to the point, in the 17.5t TC class I started the finals from the second grid, but managed to clinch the victory for myself in the last minute of the last final. My Xray X4’24 car worked great all day!
In the 1/12th class I drove Contact tires for the first time, and it took a few starts to get the grip level right. I didn't have to make any changes to my Xray X12 ’25 car all day and it worked really well! I knew it would be a tough fight to get on the podium, but I think I did really well after qualifying to the finals of the second grid, which also became my final position. This order was also the final order in the Southern Finland club championship, where I placed second.
Thanks to all the competitors and thanks to the Rannikkoseudun RC-Autolijat Ry, the track was really great and the arrangements were successful! Special thanks to Miika for his help in the pits.
