The LRP Masters Race took place on April 14/15 at the Malaysia HPC track and was attended by 65 drivers. The weather was sunny and warm during the day, with temperatures reaching 38°C. The track was a very nice track with technical spots everywhere and 2/3 and 5 jumps; grip was good.

It was a nice drive from Singapore, taking about 3 hours to drive to the track in the centre of Malaysia. This is an annual event sponsored by LRP. This year we had three categories: 1/8 buggy, truggy, and 1/10 gas touring. The gas touring had about 50 drivers.

The final stage of the LRP Master Race was cancelled due to heavy rain. The qualifying timing for heats was taken to decide the winners for the event. TQ position went to Malaysian driver David Lim with his Kyosho/OS.
