Chassis. |
|
The chassis plate is updated for mounting the new covered receiver box, electronics plate and the new battery trays. The updated layout with new positions for the electronics and batteries helps improve weight balance. |

Shock Towers. |
|
New Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum shock towers feature lowered shock mounting positions for both the front and rear suspension. The lower mounting positions increase the overall stability of the car across all surfaces, as well as help increase cornering speeds. By carefully selecting the new tower geometry, the single row of shock mounting positions simplifies the set-up process to optimize performance for any track condition. |

Shocks. |
|
The new XB8E shock bodies and shock shafts were shortened to match the new lowered shock towers and lowered mounting geometry, while maintaining proper suspension travel.
The shorter XB8E shocks carry over multi-adjustable 3-in-1 shock caps with 4 bleed holes with 3 different seal choices – ribbed membrane, cell membrane, or O-ring. The shorter shocks feature 3 different assembly alternatives – emulsion / rebound / zero rebound, with each one suitable for different track conditions. |

Electronics Plate. |
|
The all-new electronics plate was redesigned to feature a covered receiver box and updated ESC plate. The receiver box provides more protection for the receiver and all connected cables in harsh conditions common to 1/8 racing, while limiting the amount of dust entering the box.
The box was designed in a way to maintain clearance for the servo arm to ensure full steering movement. The updated plate moves the ESC towards the rear of the car to fit the new receiver box and improve the overall handling of the car. |

Anti-Roll Bars. |
|
To increase overall traction in all track conditions, the front anti-roll bars used are 2.2mm and the rears to 2.4mm.
Anti-roll bars, manufactured from spring steel material, are easily mounted to front & rear diff cases with easy adjustment using the adjustable linkages.
Anti-roll bar wires of different thicknesses are optionally available for fine-tuning. |

Alu Wheel Hubs. |
|
To improve the out-of-the-box geometry, the XB8 now includes both front & rear wheel hubs with a +1mm off-set which is the most favorite choice for most of the track conditions.
Ultra-lightweight 17mm wheel hex drive hubs are CNC-machined from Swiss 7075 T6 black-coated aluminum.
The alu hex hubs are specially machined to reduce rotating weight while guaranteeing wobble-free wheel mounting. |

Central Diff. |
|
A new smaller center differential assembly significantly reduces rotating mass to create more forward drive out of the corners. The all-new composite spur gear reduces rotating mass and makes for quieter vehicle operation. Reducing rotating mass improves responsiveness for better control and handling, improves battery life and reduces equipment operating temperatures. |

Gear Differential. |
|
Both front and rear differentials are identical for easier maintenance and servicing.
The large volume front and rear diffs feature high capacity cases, strong diff pins, and large internal gears with more teeth for improved differential action, consistency and overall reliability. The larger volume of the differential and the shape of the gear teeth reduce oil overheating. |
