Round 1 of the Brca RallyCross Pro nationals is finished, I was able to qualify 2nd and finish 2nd when it was all said and done!
I didn’t quite get comfortable out there this weekend and I’m not too sure why, but I’m happy I was able to maximise the result with the pace I had!
I had a really good car in the semi final, and I felt I could’ve had a good go of it in the main, the heavens opened, half way through the 2nd semi final and that gave me a head start in the main, starting on pole and my main rivals in qualifying lining up 8th and 9th!
As the flag dropped for the 45 minute main it was clear I had made some wrong set up decisions and ultimately just struggled for pace! Nevertheless I had a clean race and that is a good result in itself in wet conditions!
Congratulations to Elliot for the win and Lewis for third place!
