This past weekend, the Malaysia national championship round 1 was held at SACC mall’s roof top track. There were a total of 78 drivers, and a total of 4 classes - Modified, 13.5T Blinky, 17.5t GT and 17.5T FWD classes.
My X4 had good traction and balance and I could secure TQ and Win. Ethan Cheng finished 2nd behind. In the 13.5T Blinky class, Daryl thong took his X4’25 to TQ and win with a flawless drive.
The main changes I did from my start setup are the following.
1. Glass fiber top deck to 1.6mm carbon fiber top deck
2. Raising rear hubs to 1mm from 0.5mm
3. Raising front and rear upper roll centre
4. -1 upper clamps also help smoothen out the steering
